Terms & Conditions
The terms for using clslaw.in and buying titles from The Ledger.
Last updated 7 November 2026
About these terms
This website is operated by Clinical Law Simplified LLP, Pune, Maharashtra, India (“CLS”, “we”, “us”). By using clslaw.in or buying a title, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who the library is for
Paid titles in The Ledger are sold only to registered medical professionals whose registration we have verified. We may ask for your registration number and certificate, and we may decline or withdraw access where details cannot be verified or are found to be incorrect.
Educational content only
Everything on this site, including videos, kits, SOPs, audits and briefs, is general educational material about medico-legal process in India. It is not legal advice, not medical advice, and does not create a lawyer–client or any professional relationship. It cannot account for the facts of your situation or for changes in law after publication. Use it alongside your own clinical judgement, your institution's policies and advice from qualified counsel.
CLS improves preparedness; it does not promise outcomes. No title makes a doctor immune from complaints, claims or proceedings. Nothing on this site should be read as permission to alter, backdate or fabricate any record.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees on each title before you pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner; CLS does not see or store your full card or bank details. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; a price change never affects a purchase already completed.
Your licence to use a title
When you buy a title you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own professional practice. Each copy is issued in your name and may carry your details and a unique purchase ID. You may print it for your own use. You may not share, resell, upload, publish or distribute it, or remove the identifying marks. Copyright in all content remains with Clinical Law Simplified LLP.
Your account
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you think your account has been used by someone else.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorised for, or interfere with its security or operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CLS is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general educational content, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
